Know Before You Go

There are a few simple things to know to have the best experience possible. Here's what to expect during your visit.

I booked a Day Pass

When should I arrive?

Check in at the time you booked, stay as long as you like. There is no time limit and no re-entry.

What do I need to bring with me?

Just bring your bathing suit, water bottle and some good vibes. Towels, slippers and personal care products are supplied in our locker rooms. Locks are not needed, there are integrated locks on the lockers that allow access via wristband. Please be sure to secure your belongings.

How should I use the amenities?

There’s no wrong way to bathhouse. The key is to alternate between extreme temperatures, hot and cold. Rotate between our pools, saunas and steam room at your own pace. Need some inspiration? Check out some of our favorite circuits on our blog.

I booked a Treatment

When should I arrive?

Check in one hour before your treatment start time. This gives you plenty of time to check in at the front desk, change into your bathing suit, and begin using the amenities before your treatment. If you arrive after your service start time, you will miss part or all of your service. You are welcome to use the remaining time you have left and enjoy the amenities. Reference your confirmation email or get in touch with any questions.

What should I wear during my treatment?

For Massages, you may undress to your level of comfort. Our Licensed Massage Therapists are trained in draping and modesty to ensure you are comfortable during your treatment.

For Hammam Scrubs, you will wear your bathing suit. A two-piece suit is recommended for a Hammam Scrub so we can exfoliate the entire body.

How should I prepare for my treatment?

Since you’ve checked in prior to your treatment, warm up your muscles in the sauna before a massage. We recommend leaving the sauna or hot rooms at least 15 minutes before your treatment starts. Give your body enough time to cool down so you are not sweating on the massage table.

If you’re joining us for a Hammam Scrub, we recommend visiting the Steam Room for at least 10 minutes. Allow the skin to soften so you can get the most out of your exfoliating Hammam Treatment.

Bathhouse 101

  • No-Phone Zone

Bathhouse is a no-phone zone for the privacy of all guests. Please leave your phone in your locker.Cameras, filming, and photography are never permitted. We encourage everyone to unplug and recharge. If you need to take a phone call, please do so in the restaurant/lounge area.

  • Experience

Traditionally, bathhouses have been the bustling center of a community. This bathhouse is no different. It’s totally cool to come here with your friends. We’re social animals by nature, and part of being your best self is being part of a community.

  • Etiquette

You don’t need to whisper, but please be mindful of others' experiences and use indoor voices. It’s ok to strike up conversations with like-minded bathhousers, but not a place for speed dating. Just be cool.

  • Rinse

After a visit to the sauna or steam rooms, it is recommended to rinse before entering the pools.

  • Robes

Bathhouse does not provide robes but if you would like to bring your own robe that is totally cool. In our experience, robes are common in the spa world, but not in bathhouses. It is not advisable to wear a robe in saunas or pools.

  • Guided Sauna Sessions

Sauna Masters host 15-minute guided sauna sessions (Aufguss) throughout the day at our locations. The core elements of an Aufguss are heat, essential oils and music. To join, simply head to the sauna during your visit when the Sauna Master announces an upcoming Aufguss. View our Aufguss schedule here.

  • Private or Semi-Private?

Our shared amenity spaces provide a communal experience. Most people visit in pairs or small groups. While plenty of guests visit solo, it’s totally up to you how you would like to engage with the space and other guests.

  • Locker Rooms

Bathhouse provides towels & slippers. In the locker rooms you’ll find towels, slippers, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, face moisturizer, body moisturizer and hair dryers.
