Bathhouses span the entire globe and go back to the beginnings of written human history. From Islamic hammams to public bathing areas on the Ganges river, if you look, you will find communal bathing has been central to the human experience for millenia.

Traditionally, bathhouses have been the bustling center of a community, and this bathhouse is no different. It’s totally cool to come here with your friends. We’re social animals by nature, and part of being your best self is being part of a community.

Bathhouses were always more than just a place to get clean before widespread indoor plumbing. They served as vibrant communal centers full of ritual and shared human experience.
